For some reason, I was HYPED about the American Music Awards last night, but when they started they HYPE turned into boredom! Yet, it still gave me good items to do Twitter Commentary on, lol.

Janet….Ms. Jackson if you nasty opened the 2009 American Music Awards:

Jay Z and Alicia Keys performed ‘Empire State of Mind’ without any interruptions:

You know with her album dropping in 2 days, Ms. Rihanna was going to show up and show out! This morning, I’m still waiting for her to ‘show out’!

I’m still LOST as to why Jennifer Lopez performed! I’m sure she still wondering “how in the hell did I fall”? She played it off though!

Alicia Keys performed ‘Sleeping With A Broken Heart’-shout out to the set of ‘In Living Color’ that she borrowed! She should have got J-Lo to come out and be a Fly-Girl.

This definitely had to be my FAVORITE part of the show…and not just because of Mary, well it was! BUT-BUT, she is the only performance I REALLY enjoyed!

Eminem & 50 Cent took the stage last night as well. Is it me or did Em’s performance look like it was previosuly recorded?

Why did Timbaland’s stylist set him up with that little azz jacket on during his performance with Nelly Furtado?

After seeing Lady Gaga’s performance…I am convinced that something is REALLY wrong with her!

Ms. Whitney Houston may not be able to perform like she used too, but she does a damn good job trying!

Toni opens up more to Wendy about her separation from her husband of eight years and what he thought of the kiss with Songz:

Toni B: I’m a little sad about it. I really don’t like being separated, I enjoyed being married but we are definitely separated. We’re great friends and we have kids together and we still work together, but um, yeah we are separated.

Wendy: But he was there at the Soul Train Awards.

Toni B: Yes.

Wendy: What did he say about that kiss?

Toni B: Actually I talked to him about the kiss before hand because the team and the choreographer suggested it because we were trying to narrate the song. There is a lyric in the song, in the bridge where it says, [Singing] ‘Don’t you want to try again, started with a little kiss…’ So the kiss, you know the girl, you tell the guy it’s over, he’s so yesterday and he kisses you and you kinda get lured back in again. So we were trying to narrate the song. That’s where the kiss came from.

Also, Diddy celebrated his 40th Birthday and the stars were out! From Marthe Stewart, Cassie, Jay Z, a Beyonce-look a like, Nelly, and more came out to celebrate!

Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Sheree Whitfield may not be returning for the show’s third season. That’s the word from MTO, but a rep for Bravo tells us, “No decisions on season three have been made yet.”

Sheree Whitfield is one of the show’s most confrontational players, but according to a blog poll of more than 33-hundred people, 29 percent wanted to see NeNe go, versus 26 percent for Sheree. Kim got 19 percent of the votes, and Lisa got 16 percent. Kandi was the most popular, with just 10 percent wanting her gone.

Lil Mama should be kicking and screaming everytime she see’s Teyana Taylor! There is no reason why she should have started her line of Lip Gloss/Chapsctick! It’s kool though, because Ms. Teyana Taylor decided to take over that lane!

Starting December 1st, Teyana will launch her own line of Lip Gloss called “Dope Lips”!

During an interview with Egypt last month, Teyana said that “We are still developing it but I’m excited because we have ‘Salute The Nude’ under the lipgloss line for all the girls who like nude colors. It will come in all different shades. The website is www.DopeLips.com”

Parties were jumping off on both coast last nite! While some of us was glued to the television watching the Janet Jackson interview on ABC, Drake, Fabolous, Diddy, Jay Z, and others were gettin’ it in!

Out in LA, Drake was escorted to the GQ Men of The Year Party! Shouts out to Wale who was awarded as well!

On this side of the world, Diddy, Jay Z, Angie Martinez, Rick Ross, Amber Rose, Tyrese and others were all celebrating Fabolous’ Birthday up in New York.

The video for Robin Thicke’s ‘Sex Therapy’ is here!

Watching the video, I get that feel that Robin doesn’t really wanna be there. He doesn’t seem to into the video. Is it just me? Maybe he’s wishing them chicks were Paula, because truhfully speaking, she is 10x hotter than them! You decide!
