Word has it that Usher Raymond is not only engaged, but rumor has it he has his new fiance Grace Miguel knocked up! According to The YBF Usher was spotted out with Grace and his kids from his previous marriage Tameka Foster-Raymond.

Tameka is pissed about the whole situation and airing it out on her twitter page:

It’s looks like Usher has Tameka saying, “O, o,o,o,o, o, OH MY GOSHHHHH!!!”

The Prince of VA, Trey Songz, taped his MTV Unplugged session recently and I was able to get my hands on a sneak peek of the session.

“At this point in my career, with all the opportunity arising, this is definitely a major highlight within those opportunities,” he says. “I saw a write up on MTV. and they described my performance as a star-making set. That’s crazy to read, and I think “Unplugged” has been that for so many people. It’s a chance to highlight an artist, a chance for them to be vulnerable, a chance for them to contort their music and give it to people a different way. To show that I’m truly an artist and that I love to do what I do, making music. To do it on that platform, the same one as so many artist before me is just really amazing.”

It was 8 years ago today, that the world lost an icon, a trend-setter, a trailblazer, and one whom we can never forget-Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.

Left-Eye was a member of the one the BIGGEST selling females groups ever. At the age of 30, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, was killed in a car accident in Honduras.

The head-on collision on a treacherous two-lane country road occurred shortly before 6 p.m. outside La Ceiba, a town on the Atlantic coast, said Carlos Bakota, a spokesman for the U.S. Embassy (CNN).

Lopes contributed her own self-written raps to many of TLC’s past singles, including “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg”, “What About Your Friends”, “Hat 2 da Back”, “Waterfalls” and “Girl Talk”. She was also known for wearing a pair of glasses with a condom in place of the left eye lens in the beginning of her career, which was one of the ways she promoted safe sex.

Today, we remember Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes…may she Rest In Peace!

I’ve got my hands on Fantasia’s official single from her new cd that drops later this year. It’s called Bittersweet! I have to admit…when I first heard it, I was bittersweet about the song. Now that I’ve spent some time with it, I’m not as bitter lol.

Rap Legend, Keith Elam aka “Guru” lost his battle with cancer at the age of 43 on Monday.

On his Web site, DJ Premier published a letter purportedly written by Guru, which stands for Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal.

“I write this with tears in my eyes, not of sorrow but of joy for what a wonderful life I have enjoyed and how many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting,” the letter reads (New York Daily News).

It’s ALOT of DRAMA going on surrounding his death, but I refuse to focus on it. Let him “Rest In Peace’

Dr. Dorothy Height, one of the founding matriach of the Civil Rights Movement and active member of Delta Sigma Theta, died today at the age of 98. Dr. Height died of natural causes. She was announced dead at Howard University Hospital.  

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of both of the legends.
