Shock Jocks ‘John & Ken’ Disrespect Whitney Houston, “Crack Ho” (Audio)
The Jon & Ken Show on KFI-AM Radio-640 are just completely OUT OF ORDER. From what I understand about Jon & Ken is that they are “Shock Jocks”. While the world is trying to look past the negativity that plagued Whitney Houston’s life while she was alive, Jon & Ken wants to keep the momentum going. They simply won’t allow the woman to ‘Rest In Peace’.
During a recent break during their show, they called Whitney all types of “crack ho’s and even made jokes about it taking this long to die. RUDE!
I guess Jon & Ken got what they wanted, some attention! Who the F&ck are they anyway? I have NEVER heard of them! Their comments were definitely insensitive and uncalled for.

Second, would these comments have anywhere near the same controversy if Whitney wasn’t black? She had known drug use. She was visibly affected by drugs in the days leading up to her death.

For some of you younger people, just Google the reality show she did with Bobby. Half the time you can’t even understand her she is so whacked out on drugs. She was a known crack user which was a major result of Bobby’s influence. And yes it was for about 20 years and counting with little bouts of rehab in between.Instead of “crack ho” they should have just said “crack head” and they would have been in little trouble. Thanks to everyone who has commented on this post. I wasn’t going to say anything about the comments, but I feel as though I must. I don’t pay attention to color. Whether it was one of our artist that was Black, White, Purple, Pink, or Yellow, it is very sad that she died. We all have our opinions on her history of stuff that has been reported in the media, but she is gone now. Let’s just remember her in a positive light, and the contribution she made to the music world. I do stand by my statement that Jon & Ken comments were insensitive. They should be reprimanded for that. Someone should look into what Tim Conway Jr. (KFI AM 640)has been saying about Whitney. His show comes on right after John and Ken. He’s just as rude, insensitive and inappropriate. I actually think he’s worse than John and Ken. Earlier this week he was promoting a VERY insensitive SNL skit regarding Whitney AND suggested that they include a BATHTUB scene.
