For Ebony’s annual Music Issue, R&B stars, Monica and Brandy are featured on the cover. Monica’s album, New Life, is in stores now, while Brandy’s album, Two Eleven is set to drop this summer. It features ‘Put It Down’ with Chris Brown.

In this issue that hits newsstands this month, Brandy clears up rumors about her brother Ray J, and admits that she is ready to wear on the “fourth finger, left hand.”

“I wish we were engaged. He’s taking a little long on the ring side of things, but I’m patient. I wanted to impress him. I wanted him to be proud of me; I was inspired by him. So making the record and him being there, it’s just all a part of it. Him and my daughter. I want him to love my songs. I want him to love my voice.”

People Magazine has spoken! They have named Beyonce Knowles-Carter at 2012′ ‘Most Beautiful Woman’.

At 30, PEOPLE’s 2012 World’s Most Beautiful Woman has many accomplishments on her résumé, including being a 16-time Grammy winner, an actress and a style and beauty icon. But none is more important than her newest role: playing mom to daughter Blue Ivy, whom she and husband of four years, Jay-Z, welcomed in January. “I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” she says. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a sense of purpose on this earth.”

I wonder how many Hip Hop heads are going to be in the feelings for the May issue of XXL Magazine, where the crown Lil Wayne as “The King Hip Hop Live”. In the issue, Wayne talks about spending the last year (immediately after his release from jail) touring, his favorite show moments, personal rituals before hitting the stage and tips he gives his Young Money artist. Weezy also give details about his other business ventures such as his TrukFit clothing line and DEWeezy partnership with Mountain Dew.
