PostHeaderIcon Universal Plans ‘Scarface’ Makeover For A New Generation!

Hol up Hol up Hol up! Alot of people probably won’t be happy to hear the Universal is planning on releasing a new version of Scarface.

Not that a lot of people were happy with it the first time it was “made-over” in 1983. The original 1930′s Howard Hughes film was considered a cinematic classic by most critics and the same can now be said for the 1983 version.

Now, the film will NOT be considered a “remake” but as a new version of the popular story: an outsider, an immigrant, barges his way into the criminal establishment in pursuit of a twisted version of the American dream, becoming a kingpin through a campaign of ruthlessness and violent ambition for a new generation.

Find out what some of the differences may be in the post 2010 version, after the jump! Read the rest of this entry »
