14 Grammy’s, 5 albums in (working on 6th), married, and the mother of 1, Alicia Keys is finally comfortable in her own skin. For VIBE’s “Global Issue”, Alicia Keys gives her first “real” interview. You would think someone who has had the success that she has had, would be comfortable or maybe not. Having to watch every moves she make, being critiqued on what she wears, how she walks, how she sings, being scrutinized for the man she married-it can be ALOT. Now, at 31, Alicia Keys isn’t worried about that. She’s simply enjoying life.

In an upcoming memoir, Swizz Beatz ex-wife, Mashonda, was reportedly going to shed light on Swizz cheating ways. Allegedly, he was still dippin’ and dabbin’ with Mashonda while being with Alicia. In the book, Death Of A Mermaid, Mashonda considered this the “ultimate payback”.

It looks like Jay Z & Kanye West song, N*ggas In Paris, came to life over the weekend. Diddy, Cassie, Kanye, Alicia Keys, and Shyne were all in attendance for the Givenchy Ready-To-Wear Fall/Winter 2012 show, during Fashion Week in Paris.

It was also the first time Diddy & Shyne had connected since the 1999 shooting, in which Shyne served nine years.

She was one of the BIGGEST stars of our time (two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards ). She had one of the most powerful voices ever. On yesterday, around 3:33pm not just the music world, but the entire world felt a great shock when it was confirmed that Whitney Elizabeth Houston had died at 48.

Whitney Houston was found in her hotel room in the Beverly Hilton Hotel preparing for the annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy celebration. It was rumored that Whitney was set to take the stage that not, but unfortunately we will never get to see that. Houston was found in her hotel room, by her hairdresser, make up artist, and security detail, as she was getting ready for the party.

Beyonce FINALLY made her return to the scene, just weeks after delivering Blue Ivy. What could bring the superstar out, her husband Jay Z who performed at Carnegie Hall. Tickets for the momentous event ranged from $150 to $2000. Money raised will go towards gifted high school students who aren’t able to afford the cost to attend college. From reports that I have seen about the concert, it will make it hard for another Hip Hop artist to come after him. Let’s be real, will there be another artist to do what he just did?

Nas, Alicia Keys, Questlove joined Jay on stage for some of his biggest hits of his career from 1996′s Reasonable Doubt to his latest releasing single, Glory (an ode to his daugher).

And, of course, after the show it’s the After Party! The After Party was held at the 40/40 Club.
