Baltimore isn’t only known for its crime, crabcakes, and hit tv shows (The Corner, The Wire, etc). It’s also known for its ballers-Carmelo Anthony, Sam Cassel, Muggsy Bouges, Rudy Gay, and now you can add Roscoe Smith of UCONN.

Last night, Smith’s team, UCONN, took home the victory of the 2011 NCAA Men’s Championship title. UCONN beat Butler 53-41.

Head Coach for the Huskies, Jim Calhoun told the Washington Post, “To me, thats beauty. Damn, loved it.”

Congratulations Roscoe Smith on helping his team to that victory.

Charlie Sheen has been running his mouth all week but I bet you’ve never seen Charlie Sheen quite like this. 92Q Jams Baltimore’s very own KONAN was invited into Charlie Sheen’s California estate and Charlie has undeniably gone NUTS! Take a look for yourself!

Keys’ name is back in the news, but this time it doesn’t have anything to do with Nicki Minaj. Her manager, Massieka, went to Nancy Gray’s ‘Swift Justice’ show to put Shawn ‘Charimisa’ Dorsey on blast for releasing pictures of a photoshoot with Keys without permission.

According to Melo, his Twitter was hacked, but according to Kat Stacks, she’ll see him in court.

This Sunday morning at 3 a.m., Kat Stacks sent a racy tweet to Carmelo Anthony who recently married LaLa Vasquez. Vasquez then responded with a threat to Kat Stacks. Carmelo Anthony then offered $5,000 to anyone who would “slap the sh*t” out of “pigeon faced” Kat Stacks. Carmelo also posted a picture of the money via Twitter.

According to some reports, Carmelo Anthony’s Twitter account was hacked on Saturday evening which suggest that he did not send the threats.

Monica, Trey Songz and Dondria came through Baltimore’s Pier Six Pavilion Friday for the SOLD OUT Passion, Pain, Pleasure Tour. Monica blew the crowd out of the water with “Love All Over Me” and “Still Standing.” She even dedicated part of her set to the legendary Whitney Houston. She never fails to put on a show. She also didn’t fail to set the record straight on recent rumors, put out by Shannon’s disgruntled ex, about her being a “homewrecker.” Notice how classy Monica remains as she addresses the rumors. Trey Songz, Monica and Dondria headlined the Passion, Pain, Pleasure Tour in Baltimore Friday evening. The sold out show was the talk of the city last weekend. Trey pampered a few lucky ladies with massages, food, wine and a private meet and greet before the show. He also sat down with 92Q’s Kelson “The Urban Informer” to discuss the tour, his new album, making out with Ciara, and hooking up with Lauren London. He even hinted toward another tour being in the works. Check out the interview here:

JD’s protégé Dondria opened up for the Passion, Pain, Pleasure tour starring Trey Songz and Monica when the tour rolled into Baltimore’s Pier Six Pavilion . 92Q’s Dre Johnson talked to Dondria just before hitting the stage. Let’s just say Dondria is not as innocent as she appears. LOL.
