Vh1′s ‘Basketball Wives’ star, Evelyn Lozada, who is also the fiance’ of Chad Ochocinco, has just hit popular gossip site, Media Take Out, with a ‘Defamation of Character’ lawsuit to the tune of $15,000.

Blogs and media outlets were on fire today when word broke that Chad Ochocinco, Chad Johnson, or whatever he is going by nowdays, may have had a baby on the way and it wasn’t by his “girlfriend” Evelyn.

Reps for Chad immediately put out the following statement:

Chad Ochocinco Johnson has never been affiliated with Paige. These allegations are completely false. It is disturbing that the media does not properly check facts prior to posting or airing stories. Today’s allegations are very disheartening and considered slander, legal action will be taken.

…..what? Did Evelyn (Basketball Wives) take it from him?? I kid, I kid!

Chad Ochocinco told ESPN that “I’ve done enough with the Ocho thing”, and that he will go back to his given name, Chad Johnson.

Back in 2008, Chad had changed his name to match the number 85 on his uniform.
