I’m #TeamSwizz! I am soooo glad that he did a video for ‘Everyday (Coolin’) featuring Eve! It definitely got me excited about the release of Haute Living, dropping later this year.

Over the weekend, Swizz Beatz took the stage to perform at Webster Hall. He did one of his newest song, Dance Like A White Girl’ with a special appearance from Eve. Sorry tho, no Alicia Keys sightings.

Go behind-the-scenes with Alicia Keys & Eve as they document the studio session creating their new collabo, Speechless.

Just watching this video got me excited because I can imagine the energy and chemistry with the talents of Alicia and Swizz Beats in the studio..together….amazing! It was good to hear Eve making a return as well. This song definitely gets the “U.I. Approved” stamp.

The 2010 Hennessy Artistry Concert Series went down this past Thursday night (Oct 14) in New York City, and featured performances from Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, Eve, Ron Isley and others.

BET aired a special last night entitled “My Mic Sound Nice: A Truth About Woman & Hip-Hop.” It featured every female emcee you could possibly think of and told the story of the female MC’s from beginning to end. Everyone from Missy Elliott, Eve, Yo-Yo, Salt -N- Pepa, Rah Digga, Trina and more told their story of how it was getting into the game and how the viewed one another in hip-hop.

Looks like we were hoodwinked and bamboozled-well those of us who were salivating to hear Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later!

Originally, Thank Me Later, was set to drop on May 15th, but according to MTV, it will now drop on June 15.

Drake also kicked off his “Away From Home Tour” last night at Rock University! He debuted “Fireworks,” a new song from his Thank Me Later album.

On the set of remix video for Ludacris’, My Chick Bad, VIBE magazine caught up with Eve (who is featured on the remix) and asked her about competing with other female rappers, including Nicki Minaj.

“She definitely is a quirky chick. That’s a good word for her,” Eve said in an interview. “When she had the Freddy Krueger gloves I was like ‘Wow.’ But at the same time, whatever you decide to do, especially in music, you gotta go hard and own it. You can’t be timid wearing Freddy Krueger gloves in a video. If you look insecure, people are going to be like ‘Why are you doing that?’ You gotta f*cking own it and she did. I think that’s dope…Trust me, no one’s competition for me and that sounds cocky but I seriously live in such an Eve world. And not in a crazy-everything-is-me-bubble, it’s just that I’m bulding an empire. I go on Twitter and people say ‘Yo, knock Nicki Minaj out of the box, but ultimately we’re all helping each other and I’m happy seeing these chicks in the game. It’s too much testosterone. When I see another female, my immediate reaction is not ‘Oh I gotta go and get my sh*t right.’ I got 900 other things going on. I can’t keep worrying about what’s coming up behind me.”
