In September, Gucci Mane was sent back to jail for a 6 month stint, but as an early Christmas gift, the ATL rapper has been released. Speaking with XXL Magazine, Gucci vows to never go back. *side-eye*

This is the last time I think I’ll ever be in jail, I really feel that way. … It was a time for me to sit back and just refocus the whole way I do things, man. The times away from my fans just made me want to grind, get in the studio, go to my shows and appreciate my job and what I do now”

Last night on Twitter, Waka Flocka tweeted, “Gucci Home”. Gucci Mane had been serving a 6 month stint in jail for a battery case, after pleading guilty earlier this year.

Now unless, Waka wasn’t referring to the rapper Gucci, he is telling a ducktale. According to court documents, he is still behind bars.

Authorities in suburban Atlanta say rapper Gucci Mane will serve six months in jail after pleading guilty to battery and other charges.

DeKalb County Solicitor-General Sherry Boston said Tuesday that Mane, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, pleaded guilty to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct and one count of disorderly conduct.

A police report said Davis pushed 36-year-old Diana Graham out of his Hummer as it rolled down a suburban Atlanta street on Jan. 28.

State Court Judge Eleanor Ross sentenced the rapper to serve six months in custody followed by several months on probation.

The judge also ordered him to complete 12 weeks of anger management classes; pay $5,091 in restitution to the woman for her medical bills; and pay a $3,000 fine.

In the same week, The Throne dropped their ‘Watch The Throne’ album and Waka Flocka and Gucci dropped ‘Ferari Boys’. Even though both will compete for the most first week numbers, Waka is making it very clear that there is no comparison.

During an interview with RapFix, Waka thought that there comparison was “disrespectful.”

“Trying to compare us to Jay-Z [and Kanye] is like comparing [NBA player] Dirk Nowitzki to Larry Bird — that’s disrespectful…That’s like two different classes… I been rappin’ for three years, those folks got 15 years — I’m happy that my name comes in the conversation — even behind Gucc. At the end of the day it’s all respect; I’m a fan of music.”

I knew Waka had some sense.

As of last night, Gucci Mane is a FREE man (don’t ask me for how long, let’s hope for the best). He celebrated his release last night with a Welcome Home party at a strip club in Atlanta. He also released his new mixtape, Writings On The Wall 2, hosted by DJ Holiday.

To tell yall the absolute truth, I forgot Gucci Mane was even in jail…

But remember a couple months ago when we reported that Gucci was arrested for pushing a young lady out of a Hummer, well he’s been incarcerated ever since for violating his probation which has been in effect since 2005.

Well the prosecution in the case wanted Gucci Mane to stay incarcerated for a total of 17 months. But when Gucci went into a Fulton County jail (after being transferred there from another jail in DeKalb County) he received some great news.

Gucci Mane is still locked up, after he was arrested last week for assualt.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Gucci Mane pushed the hairstylist out of a moving vehicle after she refused his $150 proposition to go to the hotel.

Gucci should know better! He rapping about all these colored diamonds he has, and he tryna get sum for $150. Smh…Gucciiii! He is definitely going back home to jail
