At this point, Jay Z has everyone wondering what will he do next? Already under his belt is artist, CEO, author, and now we might as well add video game developer.

Just a few hours ago, Jay Z launch his very own ‘Empire’ game on Facebook.

“EMPIRE takes you on a journey from the streets of Marcy Housing in Brooklyn to the hotspots of the rich and famous: from hustler, to entrepreneur, to business mogul. But don’t forget friends and family, or your karma will suffer,” according to the press release.

Empire is still in beta testing mode, but you can play it HERE.

Even though alot of rap artist and Nene Leakes may claim to be “rich”, when it really comes down to it, there are only really 5 Hip Hop artist that should hold any bragging rights, according to Forbes.

Each year, MTV does a ‘Hottest MC’s In The Game’ list. The criteria used to be considered for list is “a combination of impact, buzz, sales, lyrics, swag and the intangibles”. Each year, they give more reasons to look at the list sideways.

A Grammy Award is the BIGGEST award any musician could receive. It’s what seperate the mice from the men. Stars from all around make sure they are there to walk the red carpet and are in the audience just in case, they happen to win the Grammy they were nominated for. If the awards are that big, why weren’t 2 of BIGGEST names in the music industry absent? Was it Blue Ivy that kept Beyonce and Jay Z home? Did Jay Z not care about his nomination? As far as we know, it was neither.

The YMCMB held their annual Pre-Grammy celebration last night in Los Angeles. After Wayne & Drake received their plaques, Weezy F announced that Christina Milian had signed to YMCMB! *Blank Stare* Don’t they already have a female that they doesn’t really get any music-related work in? How will it be any different for C.Milian? Just my thoughts…and if that’s isn’t enough to make you go hmmm…maybe Lil Wayne firing shots at Kanye & Jay will do it for you.

Wayne raps (3:27 mark), “I met a bad red bone, I took the bitch home, I asked her what she want to watch, she said surely not, The Throne.”

Yikes!
