Last month, Lauryn Hill was hit with a lawsuit from her guitarist in 2007 who sued her for $20,500, after he claims he did not get paid. Now, she has been hit with another lawsuit from things that happened in 2007.

L-Boogie didn’t waste anytime getting back to work. I don’t even think her womb has fully healed, but she is back on that stage. But, I guess when you got your own Baseball team, you can’t miss a day!

Lauryn Hill popped up on stage on Saturday at the LA Coliseum performing at the LA Rising Festival.

Though she was born & raised in Gary Indiana, Def Jam’s newest artist, K’La, can be heard blowing thru the speakers down in the ATL. Slowly but surely, she is making her way up the coast.

The R&B singer got signed to Def Jam after V-103 in Atlanta added her song, All Your Love, from her mixtape, Coldest Winter Ever.

Does K’La have what it takes to be the next BIG thing or will her take of Lauryn Hill & Wyclef’s ‘Turn Down The Lights’ track, be lost in translation?

L Boogie is back to her old tricks….keeping fans waiting for hours. Kicking off her winter tour, Lauryn Hill performed at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. Being hours late, stepping on stage L Boogie said “but I personally think I’m worth it.”

Ever since the Rock The Bells tour started, folks have had something to say about Lauryn Hill’s. Whether it was her coming on stage two hour late, or changing the tempo/beats to our classic songs from her “Miseducation” album-folks were talking.

BET aired a special last night entitled “My Mic Sound Nice: A Truth About Woman & Hip-Hop.” It featured every female emcee you could possibly think of and told the story of the female MC’s from beginning to end. Everyone from Missy Elliott, Eve, Yo-Yo, Salt -N- Pepa, Rah Digga, Trina and more told their story of how it was getting into the game and how the viewed one another in hip-hop.

Over the weekend, the Rock The Bells tour, hit New York’s Governor’s Island, featuring Lauryn Hill, ATCQ, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang, KRS One, Talib Kweli, and more.

Those that were lucky enough to catch the Rock The Bells tour in New York, they got to see Lauryn as she brought out all the A-Listers: Mary J Blige, Jay Z, Beyonce, and Alicia Keys (I don’t if I would have allowed Ms. Hill to touch my belly though…mess around and the baby be off the chain).

Due to L. Boogie being dehydrated, she did not take the stage. Just after 2 hours of waiting for Lauryn to take the stage, the stage crew started taking down her set.
