Although we may be enjoying Rick Ross’ new album Teflon Don not everyone is as excited. The grandson of the ORIGINAL “Teflon Don” John Gotti is speaking out about Ross’ new persona.

Gotti’s grandson spoke to the NY Daily News:

“My grandfather paid his dues for that nickname. That was my grandfather’s life,” Agnello said.

John Gotti was dubbed the “Teflon Don” after winning acquittal after acquittal in the 1980s. He was finally convicted of murder and racketeering in 1992.

“He should have asked for permission. A standup, respectable guy would come and ask ‘If I could use the nickname,’” Agnello, who is trying to launch a music career under the name Carmine Gotti, said of Ross. “I think he’s a great artist, but you can’t just start calling yourself that to sell records …He wants to go for that whole image, but hey, be yourself.”

Then he took another swipe at the 34-year-old, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts.

“Only in America can you go from being a corrections officer to calling yourself Teflon Don,” Agnello said, noting Ross’ former career.”

WOW! People always taking shots at Rozay! No one said anything when 50 Cent was calling himself Teflon Don…

Word on the street is that Gotti’s grandson is tryna start a rap career himself and that’s why he picked the beef…BOY SIT DOWN!

Ur opinion??

Dream’s label mate, Rick Ross, has confirmed recent reports that his new album Teflon Don has been delayed through July. The reason for the delay, Ross said

“I felt like the June 29th was a little too premature, that was the date my homie Diddy was coming out on anyway. And you know that’s the homie, so I felt like coming in the early July, middle July was best for me from day one. But it’s always good anyway man as long as you’re setting up all your pieces up in the right place. You’re setting your radio up, you’re setting your marketing up, the rest of that sh*t come in place when you got hits.”
