Some may say Waka Flocka is only speaking the truth, while others may say that it’s “the pot calling the kettle black”. Either way, it has folks talking.

During a recent visit to DJ Kay Slay’s (The Drama King) radio show, the topic of “over hyped” rappers came out. Waka was ready to spill the beans on who he think is “over-hyped’ and Kay agreed that he would call a name as well. Appearantly, Waka isn’t a fan of Wiz Khalifa!

Luda and his pork chop sideburns are BACK and he decided to bring along, the self-proclaimed “biggest artist of next year”, Waka Flocka Flame for his new single “Rich & Flexin” off of his 1.21 Gigawatts: Back To The First Time mix tape that dropped a couple weeks back. The vid, complete with plenty of Luda-products (his headphones, Conjure) is pretty clean with a nice whip, and if you’re a fan of Waka Flocka, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Last night on Twitter, Waka Flocka tweeted, “Gucci Home”. Gucci Mane had been serving a 6 month stint in jail for a battery case, after pleading guilty earlier this year.

Now unless, Waka wasn’t referring to the rapper Gucci, he is telling a ducktale. According to court documents, he is still behind bars.

When will this foolishness stop?

Over the weekend, Mizay Entertainment and Bricksquad Monopoly held their First Annual Celebrity Bowling in Atlanta. Mizay Entertainment gave away 10 homes for the less fortunate during the event. Plus, Waka agreed to donate $50 per strike during the event. Music producers, industry execs, Toya Wright, and Ludacris was some of the celebs that were spotted. Unfortunately, drama broke out when a former affiliate approached Waka over money.

In the same week, The Throne dropped their ‘Watch The Throne’ album and Waka Flocka and Gucci dropped ‘Ferari Boys’. Even though both will compete for the most first week numbers, Waka is making it very clear that there is no comparison.

During an interview with RapFix, Waka thought that there comparison was “disrespectful.”

“Trying to compare us to Jay-Z [and Kanye] is like comparing [NBA player] Dirk Nowitzki to Larry Bird — that’s disrespectful…That’s like two different classes… I been rappin’ for three years, those folks got 15 years — I’m happy that my name comes in the conversation — even behind Gucc. At the end of the day it’s all respect; I’m a fan of music.”

I knew Waka had some sense.

It seems that his retirement from rap, can’t come soon enough for him. Waka, recently said he was leaving the game after this last album, was arrested on Saturday in New York.

Police swarmed on Waka Flocka and his crew while they were in the parking lot at Coliseum Mall in Queens, and began arresting folks. According to MTV, Waka was arrested for “possession of marijuanna.”

With no charges being filed, Waka was released. Via Twitter, he shared his sentiments about his situation.

“I’m finna jump on my flight 2 Kc ……. sorry 2 da whole m town 4 not coming I had spend a nite n jail with no charge #onlybecauseirap.”

“Can’t no 1 stop with GOD got planned 4me [know that].”

The final track on this week’s Music Monday comes from up & coming singer/songwriter/musician *B~Free*. She began singing and playing the piano in her early years and has been writing and composing music since the age of 13. She’s been trained in several genres including jazz and classical flute, voice and piano. Her sound can be described as “soulfully and artistically subtle.”
